Empowering Underserved BIPOC Youth
No Defeat Warrior Foundation is the nonprofit arm of No Defeat, born from Shannon Burge's passion for fitness, the social determinants of health, and building healthy communities. Established in 2023, No Defeat Warrior Foundation is BIPOC founded and lead, serving at-risk BIPOC youth from marginalized and historically underserved neighborhoods in Denver and Aurora.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to empower underserved BIPOC youth through culturally informed fitness coaching, confidence building, and life skills development. We aim to uplift the next generation by combining our passion for community and expert knowledge of physical fitness, carrying on the legacy of Shannon’s late father, Charlie, who exemplified resilience and dedication.
Programs and Initiatives
In partnership with the Struggle of Love Foundation in Denver, we provide BIPOC youth ages 8-18 with tailored fitness training, confidence building, and life skills free of charge. Our sessions focus on physical health, mental clarity, discipline, and perseverance. We deliver a variety of culturally informed and trauma informed group lessons, camps, and special events. No Defeat Warrior Foundation relies on generous support from individual donors, corporate partners, and grant funders.
